These sculptural bottles depict scenes of fellatio. Seen kneeling before the man, the woman wears her hair in braids and is dressed in an elaborate tunic.
The man is wearing a small cape and a cap like those usually worn by Mochica priests. In one of the pieces, the individual’s face is deeply lined, indicated that he is a man of advanced years.
These pieces emphasize the ability of the male to continue producing semen late in life, when his journey into the underworld is drawing near.
