These sculptural bottles depict scenes of fellatio. The woman wears her hair in braids, and in some cases these have been wrapped around her head. In some examples she is shown wearing a tunic and jewelry, such as a bead necklace, possibly indicating her high status.

The man is wearing a small cape and a cap like those usually worn by Mochica priests. The main bodies of the vessels are decorated with symbols representing the joining and complementary nature of the different worlds, such as intertwined waves, anemones-stars, and the step and wave motif.
